P1_post3

This is my third post for my Art 102 class. We are supposed to write about 5 jobs that interest us in our job industry.

Well My number one interest is my dream job(the one I wrote about in post 2). Baking/cooking at a Christian Camp! My job title, as I just said, is Baker/Cook at Camp Berachah at Buck Creek. My Salary is between $150-$200 a week. So, $600-$800 a month. Not alot, but I don't mind, i just do what I love no matter what the pay. Job prospects, there are tons of camps out there! I don't see that business going anywhere(as in downhill) for a while, if at all. Sure it might get low in attendence or use, but I don't think it would be alot. There are plenty of opportunities with Camping. Because of all of the camps in different states. And all the different types of camps. I didn't get anything really from the bureau site though..

2nd job choice
Baker in a bakery
Salary:$25,000-$30,000
Job Prospects: There isn't alot of expected rise of employment in this area.
http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos219.htm#projections_data
Opportuninty: After next quarter(spring 2011) I will Graduate with a AAS in Baking Arts, so I will have more experience then others. People still will be buying breads and cakes and cookies, etc. So i know that the bakeries will continue.

3rd job
I want to be a stay at home mom someday(once Im married)
Salary: The joy and happiness of raising your own kids and seeing them grow up and help better the world
Job Prospects: Get Married, Have Kids, and raise them to be the best person they can be. Helping and encouraging them, and teaching them to do the same for others. Being a rolemodel for them. Loving them
Opportunity: (Once Im married) Have kids. Be fun and creative, crazy and funny, positive and encouraging, but most of all I'd teach them about the Love I have for my Savior, Jesus Christ. And show them what He means to me, and how important He is in my life! I want them to grow up seeing their mom daily striving to follow her Savior, and try to follow in her footsteps.
I don't really have any other job interests besides these. So I guess I will end here...Thanks for reading!

This is another cake I made for my bakery class.

  1. I must say that I love and envy your enthusiasm and love for your job. The fact that money is not of very much concern (long as you're doing what you love) says much about your personality and dedication. Bake on!
